About Me

I trained at University College London (UCL) where I gained a doctorate in Clinical Psychology. UCL is a world leading institution for the study of mental health and wellbeing. My research was conducted at the Tavistock Clinic and explored healthy parental communication.

Since graduating I have spent 20 years working for the NHS. During this time I have supported children and adults to navigate a wide variety of challenges and difficulties. These have ranged from new parents seeking support around parenting their baby, children and teenagers struggling in schools, to adults coping with diverse mental health difficulties. I have also supervised and trained a large of number of NHS psychologists, teachers and medical staff.

I use a variety of therapeutic techniques and models to guide my work, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Family Therapy.

I am a member of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). My registration number is: PYL26552. I am also a Chartered Member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and a Faculty Member of the section for Perinatal Psychology and the section for Children, Young People and their Families. â€‹

Assessment and Treatment Services

I offer a full range of evidence based psychological services. These include comprehensive assessments and treatment interventions. I am experienced in delivering therapy to children, adolescents and adults.

I am trained in VIPP (Video Interaction for Positive Parenting), Incredible Years Parenting Programmes, CBT and Family Therapy. I am experienced working with those with a diagnosed or undiagnosed neurodivergence. I provide compassionate, personalised care, whether you're facing anxiety, depression, behavioural concerns, family conflicts, or simply want to strengthen your relationships. I am guided by NICE (National Institute for Clinical Excellence) guidelines and am up to date with the most recent research. All treatment and intervention decisions are made collaboratively with you (and where appropriate, your family).

I see clients face to face from my consulting room in Kingston, near Lewes and online. I also offer a home visiting service for local clients with mobility issues or difficulties leaving their homes. Please get in touch to discuss this if this is of interest.

If I am not suited to help with your difficulty or you feel that I am not a good fit for you, I would be very happy to signpost you to other services that may help.
